The round trip cog ride takes approximately three hours, including a 20 minute stop at the summit. Please check our operating schedule for departure times.
We recommend that you bring a camera and extra jacket or sweater. Remember, trains are fired by coal -- so dress accordingly.

Watch the antique trains wind their way up the mountain or sit back and savor the natural beauty of the White Mountains. The Cog Railway has something for everyone!
Our all-new Marshfield building has proven to be extremely useful in better serving groups with the additional seating at our Peppersass Restaurant, supplemental rest rooms and housing of our unique gift shop, ticket office and museum, all under one roof.
